Peninsula Valdes to Ushuaia (22 days included Buenos Aires)

Day 1 - Reception
in Buenos Aires international airport and transfer to the local airport.
Flight to Trelew. Reception by our vehicle and transport to Puerto Piramides
(104 km from Puerto Madryn and 170km from Trelew). Night in cabins.

Day 2 - After
breakfast we start our tour arround the penisula Valdes focusing in fauna
watching (birds, sea lions, sea elephants, whales, etc). During the afternoon,
we will have leisure time for whales watching navigation (not included
in the price). Night in the cabins.

Day 3 - We
leave the peninsula and we take the route beside the Atlantic Ocean until
we arrive to Bahia Camarones (a beautiful virgin beach plenty of sea animals
and with the most amazing penguin reserve). We will camp.

Day 4 - Today
we will go from Atlantic Patagonia to the Andean Patagonia, crossing the
Pampa del Castillo. In the way, we will visit the famous Natural Monument
of Petrified Forest. This fossile fields are unique in the world, and
its forests of more than 60 million years old are the same that dissappeared
under the sea. After the visit, we continue till we arrive to Rio Mayo.
Night in a typical and historical patagonian hotel.

Day
5 - After breakfast we continue southwards till we arrive to Cuevas
de las Manos, a short walk will take us to see the cave paintings of more
than 9000.- year (even older than the Egyptian Piramids). Night in a estancia
in shared rooms. |

Day
6 - This is a long day. We will spend most of it in our vehicle while
we transit the famous Route 40. In the afternoon we arrive to the charming
village of El Chalten. Night in a mountain hostel. |

Day
7 - This day we will make our way deep into the wilderness. We will
hike up to Laguna de los Tres, just at the foot of the famous Mount Fitz
Roy ( 7 hours trekking ). Accomodation in the hostel. |

Day
8 - Today, we will start the 5 hours trek to Laguna Torre (at the foot
of Torre Mount and Torre Glaciar). Night in the hostel. |

Day
9 - Excursion to Laguna del Desierto and the Huemul Glaciar. After the
excursion, we will head south again with our vehicle until we arrive to
El Calafate. We'll spend the night at a hostel with private bathrooms or
in the Hotel La Loma. |

Day
10 - In the morning we will have a tremendous view of Perito Moreno
Glacier, walk around the area. Spend the night at the hostel with private
bathrooms or in the Hotel La Loma. |

Day
11 - Day at leisure for optional activities (such as sailing through
the glaciars or to do a minitrekking in the Glaciar Perito Moreno). We spend
the night at the Hostel (no lunch nor dinner included). |

Day
12 - This morning we will set out to cross The Andes towards Chile.
The drive will bring us all the way back to Torres del Paine National Park.
Note: Campground with services right by the Pehoe River and with an amazing
view of the Paine Horns. |

13 - The excursion will depend on the weather and on the group ( we
can do either long trekkings, short trekkings or visiting the park with
our vehicle). Note: Campground with services. |

Day
15 - After lunch, drive south to Puerto Natales where we will arrive
around 4:00 PM. We will have the afternoon as leisure time to walk through
this beautifull town, enjoy the sunset in the sea or make some shopping.
The night will be spent in a typical hosteria with double rooms. |

Day
16 - We will head southwards to Punta Arenas and visit the southernmost
point in the continental world (Fuerte Bulnes y Puerto del Hambre). Night
in refugee. |

Day
17 - We start the crossing of 'Estrecho de Magallanes' that will take
us to the Island of Tierra del Fuego. Thereafter, we'll cross the border
into Argentina and head down till the area of the Fagnano Lake. NIght in
camping. |

Day
18 - We continue our way to Ushuaia, the southernmost city of the World
and known as the City of the End of the World. Night in a hotel. |

Day
19 - Day at leisure to do optional activities. We recomend the navigation
on the Beagle Chanel or the visit to the National Park (no lunch nor dinner
included).Night in a hotel. |

20 - Today we will flight back to Buenos Aires. Night in Buenos Aires. |

21 - Full day to visit Buenos Aires. |
