Lake District to Ushuaia

Day 1 - Reception
in Santiago airport. Transfer to the hotel in Santiago (3* hotel).

Day 2 - Day
at leisure in Santiago. Transfer to the train station to take night Train
to Temuco. Leaving every day at 20hs with 4 beded dorms.

Day 3 - Arrival
in Temuco at 8 AM and tranfer to Pucon. Excursions in the area. Afternoon
Night in hotel or bungalow.

Day 4 - In
the morning we head east towards Argentina in a private mini bus. Night
in bungalows in San Martin de los Andes.

Day
5 - Seven Lakes Road to Bariloche. Night near Bariloche. |

6 - South till we arrive to Rio Mayo. Night in hotel. |

Day
7 - After breakfast we continue southwards till we arrive to Cuevas
de las Manos, a short walk will take us to see the cave paintings of more
than 9000.- year (even older than the Egyptian Piramids). Night in typical
Estancia. |

Day
8 - This is a long day. We will spend most of it in our vehicle while
we transit the famous Route 40. In the afternoon we arrive to the charming
village of El Chalten. Night in a mountain hostel. |

Day
9 - This day we will make our way deep into the wilderness. We will
hike up to Laguna de los Tres, just at the foot of the famous Mount Fitz
Roy ( 7 hours trekking ). Accomodation in the hostel. |

Day
10 - This day we suggest to do the trekking to the Torre Mount (6 hours
trekking). Night in mountain hostel. |

Day
11 - Depending on the group and in the weather, this morning we can
either start a 5 hours trek to Laguna Torre (at the foot of the Cerro Torre)
or a less tiring excursion to Laguna del Desierto and the Huemul Glaciar.
After the excursion, we will head south again with our vehicle until we
arrive to El Calafate. We'll spend the night at a hostel with private bathrooms.

Day
12 - In the morning we will have a tremendous view of Perito Moreno
Glacier, walk around the area. Spend the night at Del Glaciar Hostel with
private bathrooms. |

Day
13 - This morning we will set out to cross The Andes again towards Chile.
The drive will bring us all the way back to Torres del Paine National Park.
Note: Campground with services right by the Pehoe River and with an amazing
view of the Paine Horns. |

14 - The excursion will depend on the weather and on the group ( we
can do either long trekkings, short trekkings or visiting the park with
our vehicle). Note: Campground with services. |

15 - The excursion will depend on the weather and on the group. Note:

Day
16 - Drive south to Puerto Natales where we will arrive around 4:00
PM. We will have the afternoon as leisure time to walk through this beautifull
town, enjoy the sunset in the sea or make some shopping. The night will
be spent in a typical hosteria with double rooms. |

17 - We start the crossing of 'Estrecho de Magallanes'. Thereafter,
we'll cross the border into Argentina and head down to Rio Grande. Night
in a hosteria. |

Day
18 - We will stop for lunch at Fagnano lake and have a walk in the area.
Afternoon we will head south to Ushuaia. Night in a very nice 2* hotel in
Ushuaia . |

Day
19 - Full day excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park with trekking
and navigation included. Lunch in Redonda Island is included. Night in Ushuaia.

20 - Today we will flight back to Buenos Aires. Night in Buenos Aires.

21 - Full day to visit Buenos Aires. |

22 - Transfer to the airport. End of our services. |
