Day 1 - Arrival in Belize City. Transfer to Maruba Resort. Rest of the day at leisure. Maruba Resort, Jungle Spa, is a unique resort, residing in the Mayan jungles of Belize. A scenic 30 mile drive from Belize International Airport brings you to a dreamy, romantic, totally relaxing and artistically natural environment. The resort offers 15 rooms with all modern facilities including fine dining in our open-air thatched pavilion restaurant and bar, a swimming pool and a Japanese hot tub. Half Day Altun Ha - Many believe that Altun Ha was used by the Maya as a trading center rather than the more traditional self-contained agricultural community. The palaces and pyramids (excavated and partially restored) of Altun Ha surround two central plazas. Dinner is included.

Day 2 - Breakfast at your hotel. Full Day Lamanai Ruins - Lamanai, probably first inhabited 3,500 years ago, was one of the largest Mayan Cities of Belize. The majority of the ruins, at this site are unreconstructed but visitor may climb the stairway of the major temple to a perch above the jungle, swamps and lagoon. Also at the site are the remaining walls of a sixteenth century mission, one of the few signs of the Spanish presence in Belize. To reach Lamanai, visitors take a leisurely cruise down a jungle river where they can see hundreds of varieties of orchids and bromeliads while listening to the exotic sounds of the forest. Lunch and dinner are included.

Day 3 - Breakfast at your hotel.
Transfer to Belize Municipal Airport for a flight to San Pedro in Ambergris Caye.
Transfer to Mata Chica Beach Resort.
Five nights at the Mata Chica Beach Resort includes: five nights accommodations in one of the Honeymoon Suites decorated with mural paintings, fine blankets, carpets, and a jungle bathroom. Welcome Cocktail. Fresh cut flowers in Villa. Full American breakfast daily A la Carte. Fine Italian dining and International cuisine from at Mambo Restaurant. Snorkeling trip to famous Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Sting Ray/Shark Alley. Massage for two at your convenience.
