Lonqumay, Llaima and Villarica
In the morning, arrival to airport in Temuco. Van transfer towards Termas del Manzanar Hotel, 18 kms. from the town of Curacautín, in midst of a wonderful natural vegetation, on the shores of the Cautín River. Thermal bath tubs and jacuzzi in individual cabins. Its waters reach up to 48,1ºC being specially recommended for rheumatic problems, back, skin, stress and muscular fatigue after skiing. Trip to the town of Lonquimay, crossing Las Raíces tunnel (largest in South America, built in 1930). In the afternoon, you can ski in the foothills of the Lonquimay volcano, which is 2.865 meters. in height. The volcano's shape is rather particular due to its truncated cone, therefore its pseudonym "El Mocho"; given by the villagers. Dinner and accommodations in hotel.
Day 2 - Lonquimay
Volcano
One day skiing in Lonquimay volcano. The courses are at 1.400 mts.
long in the south side, next to several forests of Coigües, Evergreen
Beeches and millennial Araucarias. This is located inside the Paraguas
National Park, its peculiar name is due to the Araucaria's shape. Fortunately,
they were not damaged by the last eruption of the volcano that took place
on December 25th, 1988. During this the Navidad´s crater was formed, on
the other side of the ski courses. The courses are characterized by the
lack of rocks, being ideal for beginners and experts. Their location is
well protected from the sun, the snow is of good quality. The ski center
has just one ski lift, but wide and with varied alternatives of courses.

Day 3 - Arenales
Sikiing Center
One day skiing in the Arenales ski center, located nearby the town
of Lonquimay. (2 courses/ 1 ski lift). Picnic Lunch. Dinner and accommodations
in hotel. Included some alternatives for the days when it is not possible
to ski due to weather conditions:
- Trekking through native forests.
- Van tour towards Lonquimay and Argentinean border area.
- Horseback riding nearby the hotel.
- One day resting and hot springs in the hotel.
- Hot springs day, the National Park has the same name of the hot springs
called Tolhuaca; they are considered as one of the best of the country
having waters with very rich mineral components. (Trekking possibility
towards Malleco pond).
Day 4 - Llaima
Volcano
One day skiing in Llaima volcano (Three courses, 2 ski lifts). Early
departure (7:00a.m.) towards The Araucarias ski center located inside
the Conguillío National Park, Llaima volcano. The trip takes about 3 hrs.
(about 200 kms.), in midst of landscapes of precordilleran field, typical
of this area. There is an option of going to a 130 km. road, passing by
stony paths, although in winter season it is usually closed because of
the amount of snow. In case of being clear, we will opt for this route,
being shorter and more beautiful. This National Park is also known as
Los Paraguas (the umbrellas), its peculiar name is due to the Araucaria's
shape. The volcano reaches a height of 3.125 mts. and its courses are
1.800 meters. height. They are ideal for experts and beginners. The view
from the courses is of an incomparable beauty, surrounded by forests of
Araucarias and with imposing views toward the valley. Lunch in restaurant
of the ski center. In the afternoon, departure towards Temuco. Dinner
and accommodations in chosen hotel in Temuco. Included some alternatives
for the days when it is not possible to ski due to weather conditions:
Trekking through areas near de the ski center.
Departure from Temuco towards the hotel located in Pucón. Skiing in the Villarrica volcano's foothills, located inside the Villarrica National Park. Its volcano is 2.840mts. height. The landscape is characterized by Coigüe forests. This place has, 4 ski lifts and 5 hook lifts, with suitable courses for beginners and experts. Lunch in ski center's restaurant. Dinner and accommodations in hotel. Included some alternatives for the days when it is not possible to ski due to weather conditions:
- Rafting in Trancura River, afternoon visit to volcanic caves.
- ½ a day horseback ride, afternoon free to do as you wish.
- Trekking in Huerquehue National Park, all day (picnic lunch included)
- Day of hot springs baths at Huife (lunch in restaurant at Huife)
Skiing on Villarrica volcano. Lunch in ski center's restaurant. Dinner and accommodations in hotel (restaurant optional) Included some alternatives for the days when it is not possible to ski due to weather conditions:
- Rafting in Trancura River, afternoon visit to volcanic caves.

- Trekking in Huerquehue National Park, all day (picnic lunch included)
- Day of hot springs baths at Huife (lunch in restaurant at Huife).
Hot springs day, in Huife or skiing in Villarrica volcano. The Huife hot springs are 33 kms. northeast of Pucón. It has two outdoor pools, the waters reach more than 58ºC, being ideal for resting and comfortable relaxation. Lunch in hotel or restaurant in Pucón. Half afternoon free to do as you wish. Return to Temuco to airport or hotel
