The Deep blue of the Glacier Yelcho North entrance of the Southern Highway 3 Days / 2 Nights
	Here, in the beginning of the SOUTHERN HIGHWAY, we invite you to discover one of the last virgin areas of the world, an exotic, perfect and distant place. A vast territory of clean air, where the beauty cannot be described with words. Accompany us on this walk through a path of ancient larches, and feel the emotion of the cold glacier; to touch it, to feel it and to experience the beauty and force. Afterward we will take a relaxing bath in the natural Hot springs of the area.
	Day 1 - Puerto Montt - Chaitén Depart on noon flight toward Chaitén, a little town with 4.000 inhabitants at the north entrance of the Southern Highway. Chaitén derives from the huilliche word CHAIN-CHAITUN that means "colar en chaivas" (basket) due to the abundance of rains and the topographical conformation of the place. In the afternoon we go toward the Park Pumalin, a project developed by the North American Douglas Thompkins with the purpose of protecting the rainforest. These properties are dedicated as Sanctuaries of Nature, a special appointment of the state of Chile that provides environmental additional protection where industrial activities are not allowed. A walk of 20 minutes on the path of The Larches; this circuit crosses a river with a suspension bridge. It is an easy walk for all ages through an ancient alerce forest with detailed signs that provides biological and historical information. Picnic lunch. Return to Chaitén. Dinner in Restaurant Canasto de agua and lodging in Hostel The Coigues.
	Day 2 - Glaciar Yelcho and hot springs El Amarillo Breakfast. In a road with wonderful views toward the volcano Michimahuida, and the glacier Yelcho. In 45 minutes we will be begin our trek towards the glacier Yelcho. We will cross a path of rainy temperate forest, where there is plenty of pangues, and where we could be surprised at the birds that cross our road without any fear. After one an a half hours we will arrive at viewpoint, where we will be able to appreciate, from a distance, the beauty of the glacier and the multiple waterfalls which are born from it. Continuing our trek, we must ford rivers by jumping across on stones while passing large wild rhubarb. We then begin the ascent of 1 hour toward the Glacier. On the edge of the glacier, we will share a picnic lunch, and drink cold and pure water 13000 years old. We also have time to ourselves, to be in touch with the luxurious nature. In the way back, we will take the route to the Hot springs El Amarillo, where we could enjoy the warm waters, and the healthy river next to them. Afterwards, we continue toward Chaitén. Dinner an lodging in Hostel Los Coihues.
	Day 3 - Chaitén - Puerto Montt Breakfast. Free morning. take your time for relaxing or go for a walk for the surroundings of Chaitén. Transfer to the airport and flight toward Puerto Montt. End of our services.
