Day 1 - Monday
Arrival in Guatemala City. Transfer to a hotel in the city for overnight
accommodations.
Day 2 - Tuesday
In the morning depart Guatemala City in direction of Antigua for a Sightseeing
tour of this colonial style city, visiting the most interesting sites:
churches, convents, monasteries and other colonial buildings. Overnight
accomodations in Antigua.
Day 3 - Wednesday
In the morning depart for Lake Atitlan, with a brief stop at the Archaeological
Site of Iximche for a visit. Overnight accomodations will be provided
in Panajachel.
Day 4 - Thursday
In the morning join the launch excursion to the picturesque lake-side
village of Santiago Atitlan. In the afternoon, continue to Quetzaltenango
for overnight accommodations.
Visit the colorful open-air animal market of San Francisco El Alto, the Church of San Andres Xecul and beautiful Valley of Almolonga. Overnight accommodations in Huehuetenango.
In the morning visit the colorful open-air market of Todos Santos Cuchumatanes. In the afternoon continue to Chichicastenango for overnight accomodations.
In the morning visit the colorful open-air market of Chichicastenango and the Church of Santo Tomas. After lunch continue back to Guatemala City.
Begin the trip that will take you through El Progreso and Zacapa. Continue to Copan, Honduras for a visit of the ruins that same morning. In the afternoon return to uatemala territory. Overnight accommodations will be provided at Rio Hondo.
After breakfast continue to Quirigua for a visit of the site. In the afternoon proceed to Puerto Barrios for overnight accommodations.
In the morning join the launch excursion to Livingston. In the afternoon, continue to Castillo de San Felipe. Overnight accommodations will be in the Rio Dulce Area.
Morning at leisure. After lunch, transfer by land to Flores or Tikal for Overnight accommodations.
Transfer to Ceibal for sightseeing of the site. After lunch transfer back to Flores or Tikal for overnight accommodations.
Transfer to Yaxha for sightseeing of the site. After lunch transfer back to Flores or Tikal for overnight accommodations.
Sightseeing of Tikal. In the afternoon board your flight back to Guatemala City for overnight accommodations.
Transfer to airport for flight home.
