Of Orinoco River, Atlantic Rainforest

The
Orinoco Delta covers an area of about 25.000 sq.kms (9700 sq.miles), and
infinity of channels ending at the Atlantic Ocean along some 360 kms (1180
feet) of coast. The Delta of Orinoco is inahbited by Warao's (traslate =
"the men of the canoes") AmerIndian people, the 2nd largest group in Venezuela
(approx.24.000 persons) We'll board a local out-board called Falca and start
the boating through a real Atlantic RainForest. We'll cruise wide and narrow
channels deep into the jungle. We'll stop at Warao indian's authentic palaphitic
settlements where we'll look at and buy directlly from their hands their
handycraft production as well as hammocks, baskets, scale canoes, birds
and animals carvings, collars, and much more. |

Day 1 - Transfer
from Ccs hotel to airport. Meeting at Pzo(Puerto Ordaz) or Mun(Maturín)
airport, handling assistance and ground transfer to the wharf. Boarding
our boats and start the wonderfull ride to end at Boca de Tigre Lodge.
Check-in and scouting of the surroundings.

Day 2 - Navigation
through smaller channels deep into the RainForest, and we'll explore the
remote places inside the Delta. Some stops on Warao amerindian settlements
to buy its handycrafts. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 3 - Transfer
back to Puerto Ordaz / Maturin Airport and assistance to connect with
commercial jet flight to Ccs (This Flight Not Included). Upon arrival
to Ccs transfer to hotel. All taxes included. Full-Board services each
day included on package.
